Week 29 – Scared of Class

I know I promised my San Fran recap, but I’ve been SOOO busy! I promise to have that up this week. photo10Baby O’s Size: Acorn Squash – about 16”, 3 lb

Baby O’s developments: His growth is really speeding up!

Currently Craving: More sweets than usual.

Weight gain this week: 1.2 lb (20.6 lb total)

Sleep & Dreams: My sister and I both had dreams with her AND the baby in it. In hers, the baby was a girl and we gave it to her because we didn’t want it (that definitely wouldn’t happen, hehe). In mine, I woke up in the hospital room and couldn’t remember having the baby. My dad was there and he said my sister was taking care of the baby. When I found them, Wyatt was huge! She said that they had to put me to sleep to do the c-section because he weighed 20lbs. Kinda scary!

How I am feeling: I’m definitely getting more uncomfortable by the day. I feel like my ribs are starting to get smooshed. I’m starting to feel a little anxious about having everything ready for when the baby comes. There is so much stuff to do!

Evidence of Pregnancy Brain: Can’t think of anything because I probably forgot.

Movement: Tons of movement every day!

Appointments: Jay and I are going to Childbirth Class all day on Saturday. I’m prepared to be totally traumatized.

Exercise: I worked out once, boooo!

Innie or outie: Innie

Stretch marks: None yet, woohoo!

Rings on or off: On

Maternity wear: Jeans, jeans, jeans

Baby related purchases: Nothing this week

Playing with my Phone

I got a brand new phone on Monday and I am already obsessed with it! I got a Palm Pre and it is amazing…just like the commercials. I can tweet, check e-mails and go online in just a few seconds. The only thing that is slacking is that the Pre doesn’t have as many apps as the iPhone, but hopefully more will come soon. Even all these pics today came from my phone, and they aren’t too bad!

On Wednesday I woke up at 6:30 to do ChaLEAN Extreme Lean Circuit 1. Whoa…it is hard! In the Lean Phase, you are supposed to fatigue at 12 reps. Also, the moves are supposed to target your core more than the other 2 phases. Here is an example…one exercise was a Plank with a Tricep Extension! I was dying through that one. But it was an amazing workout.

My Chocolate Shakeology recipe of the day was Mocha Malt. I LOVE this one, it really hit the spot.

For lunch I decided to hit the mall because I badly need a new purse because my zipper is torn. But of course…I didn’t find any that I liked (at least not in my price range). I need a sugar daddy to buy me a Louis, haha. After the purse hunting, I stopped at Healthy Delights, a great place in the mall that focuses on salads & crepes. I had the Chicken Poblano Crepe with was delicious! It had grilled chicken, tomatoes, artichokes, peppers, spinach, mozzarella cheese and “poblano sauce”.

I was pretty busy at work so I by the time I realized I was hungry, it was already time to go. I got home famished and made a quick dinner. I had half an Arnold Sandwich thin with a Laughing Cow Light and turkey. Then I made a large side salad using organic grape tomatoes, which tasted MUCH better than the conventional ones.

After some web surfing (looking for good quality fake Coach purses online, haha). I had to eat my new obsession, a dark chocolate dipped frozen banana. Then I plopped down to watch the premier of Top Chef. I’m so glad it’s back. It looks like it’s going to be a really good season. My only criticism of the show is that at judges table they didn’t re-explain what the winner’s dishes were. There were so many contestants, that I forgot what most of them had made. But when the bottom 4 were at judge’s table, they showed the pictures of their dishes again. Anyway…I’m glad my fellow South Floridian, Ron Duprat, was in the top 4!

Push Completed!

Sunday went by SO quickly! I wish the weekends could last a little longer. I’m all for the 4 day workweek. I would put in a couple extra hours Mon-Thurs if I could get Friday off.

Anyways…Sunday morning I got up and did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster Workout. It was SO fun! It seemed a little easier than I remember too. Maybe it’s because those ChaLEAN Interval workouts are so tough. But I’m so excited that I finished the PUSH phase! Woohoo. Now the last phase…Lean. I’m starting it this Thursday (I have to take a short trip to Orlando so I can’t start right away. The pic above is the chart to track your reps. I’ve really improved in push-ups. I can’t wait to take the fit test at the end to see how much I’ve improved.

After my workout, I had a Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Shakeology. It was so creamy and refreshing. It took all my willpower not to chug it.

I got some sun in my backyard and was reading my new travel book about Venice. I can’t wait to go! Then it was time to run some errands. Whole Foods was first. I bought my usual veggies and rotisserie chicken, and got a sandwich to go. I opted for the Roast Beef Monterey which had roasted red peppers, pepper jack, and horseradish sauce. It was pretty good, but my fav sandwich there is the Art Deco Deluxe.

I was in the cooking mood but wanted to do something easy. I made whole wheat cous cous with tomato and zucchini. It came out really well and only took 10 minutes to make. I packed it up in 4 to go containers, plopped on some rotisserie chicken, and have my lunch for the week!
