Baby O’s Size: Winter Melon – about 19.5”, 6.8 lb
Baby O’s developments: Wyatt is considered full term now and could be born at any time. He is busy practicing his breathing, blinking and gripping skills.
Currently Craving: Mexican food and ice cream.
Weight gain this week: .4 lb, (28.4 lb total)
Sleep & Dreams: Sleep isn’t getting any better. I always wake up once during the night to use the bathroom. Switching sides is necessary because of the pain in my hips, but man does it feel like it takes way too much effort!
How I am feeling: Still feeling pretty good overall. Mornings and early afternoons are the easiest, I usually have plenty of energy and hardly any aches and pains. Then when about 4 o’clock hits it starts going down hill. My energy starts draining and I feel like I have to waddle all the time. Getting up and down from the couch at night makes me feel like my hips are gonna pop out. But I am so happy I’m done with work! Yesterday was my first weekday off. I felt like I was pretty busy… going to the doctor, doing some shopping, going to the gym and cooking. I’m so fortunate that I will get to be a stay at home mommy!
Evidence of Pregnancy Brain: Yesterday I put leftover chicken into a tupperware container. An hour later, when I went to get a dish towel (same drawer as tupperware), the chicken was there. Ugh! My fridge skills aren’t doing too well apparently.
Movement: He is very active lately, love it!
Appointments: Since my last weekly post, I’ve had my 36 and 37 week appointments. Week 36 was an ultrasound to check his weight and position. Wyatt was head down, yay! She took a few measurements then estimated his current weight to be 6lb 11 oz. She said weight at 40 weeks should be a little less than 8lbs. Yesterday at my 37 week appointment I had my first internal check. I’m not dilated yet, but she said my cervix was softening. The midwife said it was doubtful he would come anytime before week 39.
Exercise: Worked out only once, Tracy Anderson Pregnancy Month 9 DVD.
Innie or outie: It’s pretty flat, but not an outie yet.
Stretch marks: None yet, woohoo! I’m attributing it to the twice daily lotion I’ve been slathering on.
Rings on or off: Off, fingers swell up too often to put my rings on.
Maternity wear: Wearing yoga pants and tank tops while I’m at home, ahhh.
Baby related purchases: We now officially have everything we need for the baby! Yesterday I bought the last of some necessities… shampoo/body wash, thermometer, diapers, wipes.
Days until due date: 19!

Yay for being full-term!
The countdown is on. I’m so excited for you!
So close so close so close!!! Any day now..AHH!
Congrats on making it to full term, girl! Also, what lotion are you using?? I need to stock up on that stuff for when I’m pregnant!
I’ve been mostly using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Massage Cream for Stretch Marks. So far so good!
So excited for you guys! You are doing so well – you look great, and with SO much less weight gain than me, and I have three more weeks than you to go.
We also have bought NO stuff yet (apart from a frog hat) – my last week of work is next week though, so from Easter we HAVE to get organised.
Hope Jay is taking super care of you – I’m sure he is – and here in London we cannot wait until the day the world gets to meet Wyatt! Cat x
Wow you are SO close now!!! And done work! Gah! I’m so jealous!
What a relief to make it full-term! Any day now, baby!!
I’m so sick of not sleeping! “They” say it’s the universe’s way of preparing us for no sleep when baby’s here, but man. This is rough! We’re almost there!!
You’re in the home stretch–whoohoo! Enjoy these last days.
omg you are sooo close.. I remember how excited I was at 37 weeks
I totally agree that rolling over in bed is necessary but way too much work. Enjoy being home!! Sounds lovely.
