It’s time for the big nursery reveal! We spent a couple months slowly accumulating everything we needed for the room, but it only took us about a half a day to put it all together. I love that I have such a handy husband!
The glider is a Stork Craft Hoop Glider and Ottoman from Target. It was the first big item we received, thanks mom! It is great quality and very comfy.
The shelves above the glider are from Ikea. I thought it would be the perfect place for Wyatt’s books. Also temporarily propped up there is the Sleep Sheep. It has white noises like heart beat and ocean to help soothe the baby while he tries to get to sleep. I heard that these are great!
Next up, the crib. We ordered this Stork Craft crib off of Amazon. Since we were so happy with the glider, I thought the crib would be good as well and I was right. It took Jay about one hour to put together. The mattress is a Safety 1st Heavenly Dreams, which has come highly recommended. The sheet is from Target ( I ended up buying all my sheets there).
Above the crib (and above the twin bed and glider as well), are some super cute prints we got on Etsy from Niko & Lily. Unfortunately the first batch we received were bent, but Mary was so quick in getting us a new set. Talk about great customer service! The prints are 8×10 and easy to frame. The frames were only $10 each from Ikea.
In the left hand corner of the room, we have a twin size bed. Since we only have a 2 bedroom, we wanted to have some room for my mom when she visits from Florida.
Now for the dresser. This was the most annoying thing to get, haha. Our first one sucked, so we went searching far and wide for one that was good quality and affordable. After searching almost a whole day in stores in the Bay Area, I ended up buying this Status 800 dresser from Amazon (the price was $200 less than current price when we purchased it). It came fully assembled and the quality is very good. We placed the changing table right on top and secured it to the dresser in the back so it won’t slide.
After all this was set up I washed all Wyatt’s blankets, newborn clothing, and 0-3 clothing. The top drawer has his newborn sizes (not too many since they only go up to 8 lbs), onesies, and pants. My sis made sure he had one “Auntie” onesie in each size, hehe.
The second drawer has all his sleep & plays and shirts. I’m pretty sure we have way too much stuff! I hope he gets to wear everything at least once. The 0-3 sizes go up to 12 or 13 lbs.
The last drawer are all his blankies and swaddles. I’m sure we will get plenty of use out of these!
For the first few months, we bought this Pack n Play for our room. It includes a changing station so we will be able to change his diapers while we have a guest sleeping in the nursery. We are going to put it together this weekend. Now time to stock up on the little things, like diapers and wipes. I can’t believe Wyatt is going to be here NEXT month!
Love it! So exciting to see it all put together.
It’s so sweet! Must feel good to have everything all set! I’m glad you realize how lucky you are to have a handy husband. I love Danny dearly, but ooooh, Lordy.
And look at those organized drawers! I should probably wash this boy’s stuff soon. My head is spinning. Our boys are almost here!

such a cute nursery!! I love the artwork! Sooo cute!!!
Everything is ready in baby’s room so far excepting the artwork on the wall because i’m too picky/need to get a couple things framed. #fail

Awww! The nursery is adorable!! I’m so glad you shared pictures
YAY love your nursery
Make sure to get some plain white onesies you can put under his outfits, if your house is a bit cold like ours is.. and well it’s cold outside so he always wears two layers out.
Oh and trust me you will need more newborn outfits than you think.. We had to go out and buy more.. babies poo and pee on their clothes all the time! Just today, we went through three outfits.. all before 8 am…
The nursery looks awesome! So cute!
