Meet Ellie

Last month, I received an email from the team at Ellie to review their new workout line. I immediately responded with, I’m very pregnant, can I still review them? Haha. The response was yes, so I was more than happy to give them a try and hoped they fit.

My New Obsession Legging
“The name says it all. These super versatile seamless leggings are the perfect combo of fashion and function. They’ll get you through your toughest workout and paired with boots they’ll also be your go-to grab for a night out. We know, we’re obsessed too.”

The first thing I noticed was that their clothing is made in the USA, woohoo! But when I saw these leggings, I was a little scared. They looked so tiny and I immediately thought they would not fit. Luckily, they are very stretchy! The material wasn’t as soft as I would have hoped, but these leggings hold you in in all the right places. I can’t wait to wear these again after Wyatt is born.

Catch Me If You Can Shirt
“There will be no catching you in this top! Its high performance durability and soft brushed finish offer a sense of casual comfort with warmth and style. This light weight top will be your favorite companion in less than sunny climates or on late night runs. Thumbholes can be used to keep shirt in place on those intense runs and fold-over hand covers will save your fingers on those chilly morning.”

photo2This top was so soft! I think it is now the softest shirt I own. I also had doubts about it fitting but it actually made it around my almost 9-month preggo belly. Since I am a serious lover of pulling sleeves down on my shirts, I loved the extra-long sleeve with the thumbhole.

photo1Here is how Ellie works…You can purchase individual pieces (ranging from $39.95 to $59.95 each), OR you can join the club and get a two-piece outfit for $49.95 a month, which you can cancel at any time.

Each month, a new collection of 24 pieces debut. Right now you can shop from the February collection (the one my pieces were from) or from the just-released March lineup, the “Little Black Collection”.

What is your favorite piece of workout wear?
