Week 29 – Scared of Class

I know I promised my San Fran recap, but I’ve been SOOO busy! I promise to have that up this week. photo10Baby O’s Size: Acorn Squash – about 16”, 3 lb

Baby O’s developments: His growth is really speeding up!

Currently Craving: More sweets than usual.

Weight gain this week: 1.2 lb (20.6 lb total)

Sleep & Dreams: My sister and I both had dreams with her AND the baby in it. In hers, the baby was a girl and we gave it to her because we didn’t want it (that definitely wouldn’t happen, hehe). In mine, I woke up in the hospital room and couldn’t remember having the baby. My dad was there and he said my sister was taking care of the baby. When I found them, Wyatt was huge! She said that they had to put me to sleep to do the c-section because he weighed 20lbs. Kinda scary!

How I am feeling: I’m definitely getting more uncomfortable by the day. I feel like my ribs are starting to get smooshed. I’m starting to feel a little anxious about having everything ready for when the baby comes. There is so much stuff to do!

Evidence of Pregnancy Brain: Can’t think of anything because I probably forgot.

Movement: Tons of movement every day!

Appointments: Jay and I are going to Childbirth Class all day on Saturday. I’m prepared to be totally traumatized.

Exercise: I worked out once, boooo!

Innie or outie: Innie

Stretch marks: None yet, woohoo!

Rings on or off: On

Maternity wear: Jeans, jeans, jeans

Baby related purchases: Nothing this week

  1. Oh don’t worry about the class, it’s not bad at all.. The class is actually meant to un-scare you :) It helped a lot.. but honestly I don’t think I remember anything from it right now.. haha.. I think I will have to go back and read some of the material they gave us.

  2. I found our childbirth class very helpful and it actually made me less scared because I know what to expect (instead of it being a giant abyss of pain) and how to handle things (in theory at least). Enjoy it!
