I’ve been posting about my vacations with my parents for a while…and I never really got into the fact that I moved, AGAIN! As you guys know, I moved from Florida to Modesto, CA in March. In August I moved from Modesto to San Rafael. San Rafael is just about 30 minutes north of San Francisco. It’s so nice to be so close to the city! I especially love the fact that I have to take the Golden Gate Bridge to get there.

We got a nice little apartment, much better than our place in Modesto! We were so limited in Modesto because they were so strict with dog breeds. Bella is an American Bulldog, and a lot of places wouldn’t accept her. But who could resist this cute face?!

Our complex has a great gym. I’m glad I won’t have to join one. They have almost everything you could want in a gym.

One of the perks was a TV that came with the unit. Unfortunately I wasn’t in an ideal place for our couch situation. Jay had to take that one down and put ours up above the fireplace. Jay was originally just going to leave the original TV up, but I did not want to see 2 TVs every day!

The kitchen is pretty sweet! I haven’t done too much cooking in it lately (hence the major lack of recipes on the site recently). But I plan to make some great meals in here. Here it is in the midst of its unpacking glory.

We also have some wildlife…here are some wild turkeys I saw a few times on Bella’s morning walk! I’ve also seen quail and deer.

In other news…I am no longer a housewife! Eff my life! It’s time to get back to the grind. I’m so lucky that I found a job that is only 2 miles away from our apartment. At least Jay and I both have weekends off, so we can explore our new area together. There are many more adventures to come!

What’s the most you’ve moved in a year? I’ve moved twice so far in 2012. Hopefully it stays there!
