Didn’t get any glitter on my clothes though, wah wah.  But we had a great time!  Three nights of food, fun and gambling with the fam.  We stayed at the MGM Grand, and our first stop was dinner.  I had a delicious Shepards Pie at Nine Fine Irishman at New York, New York.

The next day it was time to do some sightseeing and more gambling.  Here is the sis in front of Excalibur.

Then we went downtown, to Fremont Street. I like going there to play cheap black jack.  But of course I lost, boooo!  I love how kitschy it is downtown.

On the way back to the strip, I saw a HUGE Line outside a building.  It turned out to be the Pawn Stars shop.  I wonder if they were filming?

Later that night we went to see Cirque de Soleil’s KA, which was amazing!  Luckily Wolfgang Puck was right across the way from the theater.  But the hostess told us it would be a 45 minute wait, UGH!  Little did we know, it only ended up being 2 minutes.  I scarfed down the Prosciutto Pizza in no time.

The next day we hit up the other end of the strip.  I LOVE the Venetian!  It’s such a beautiful property.  I always gotta take the obligatory picture at the Grand Canal.

Our stop for lunch was Stripburger.  Can you tell I was not watching what I ate on this trip? hehe.  The burgers were juicy and delicious.  They could have put a little more cheese on there though.

After walking around and finally winning some money using my new video roulette strategy, I wanted dessert!  Frozen Hot Chocolate from Serendipity 3 was calling my name.  Unfortunately we had to wait about 20 minutes in a line that was only 3 deep!  Serendipity…you need to get more staff to work that window.

That sums up Vegas!  On Monday… wine country!
