Happy Monday! I just got back from NYC for Jay’s brothers wedding. It was awesome! I will be back tomorrow to document some of my yummy eats from the Big Apple. But this is the one I meant to post on Friday before I left, of course I was rushing at the last minute and forgot, UGH. Huckleberry’s is a breakfast and lunch only place with a few locations in the central valley. I love the “wannabe Disney-esque” decor! hehe
After seeing this sign in the entry way, I knew it would be a great place for me.
I was craving waffles, and when I saw Bananas Foster Waffles on the menu I knew I had to order it! It was delicious! The waffle was nice and flaky, I could cut it without a knife. The topping looked a little scarce at first, but once I spread it around it was the perfect amount! I didn’t even need syrup. It was more of a praline with bananas than “bananas foster”, but it was still so good.
Jay ordered eggs over easy with bacon and hash browns, it’s his go-to choice whenever we go out to breakfast. He loved dunking his toast in his “dippin eggs”.
I can’t forget my side of bacon. Towards the end, I was dipping the bacon in the waffle topping. HEAVEN!

Those waffles look fabulous!!! I definitely prefer waffles over pancakes. And I love the toppings.
I used to order those kinds of waffles all of the time when I was younger! I make them here at school sometimes in the dining hall… I am going to miss that next year!

I love eating breakfast out! I usually opt for pancakes because I can always eat pancakes…but sometimes I get egg scrambles. Mmmmm!

I also a big fan waffles. I love to eat that every time I’m working feels that I have so many idea if I’m eating waffles.
I love waffles too! The Kellogg’s Eggo FiberPlus Buttermilk waffles are a staple in my house, but I also like to get waffles while out and about too. Especially if they have bananas on top.
OHHH my god those waffles..THOSE WAFFLES! I am dying..I need those!
