Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! I spent the first of half of it in Orlando to visit my aunt. On Friday night, Jay & I went to Graffiti Junktion in Thornton Park to get some grub. It was 10:00 on a Friday night and there was a decent crowd there, but still plenty of seats available (sorry for the bad pics! The lighting was bad and I only had my iPhone).
I started out with a nice, refreshing, Sam Adams Summer Ale.
Now I had to peruse the menu. A lot of the items looked good…but since they are known for their burgers I wanted to order one of those babies. They have some specialty burgers, plus you can make your own as well (I even heard the veggie burgers are great). With my starvation mode in full effect, one menu item was taking the lead and it just happened to blurt out when the server took my order… The Cheese Head.
The Cheese Head Burger was good! It is stuffed with American Cheese, and has American cheese on top. Lettuce & Tomato…no way! I just wanted the cheesy goodness. The only bad part was that the cheese that was stuffed in the burger seemed to gather in only one small part of the burger. But a few bites I think I had a 50/50 meat to cheese ratio. Those were tasty. Jay had a Wild Boar burger (not pictured) and wasn’t too thrilled. He said the usual…”another fried a$$ hamburger”.
That bite had SOOOO much cheese! yummy yummy yummy
I really liked the fries too…they were just salty enough and some were very crispy. Overall it was a very good meal. I would definitely go back. I think next time I will try some of their other goodies on the menu, maybe some wings and zucchini fries.
The rest of the weekend was spent back in South Florida where there was some shopping bank account draining at IKEA. I have to show you guys my stuff tomorrow! Plus of course we all know what last night was…True Blood Premier! The whole faerie world thing was a little odd, but as a True Blood freak of course I thought it was good. Even though I was hoping for some Eric – Sookie hook up action.

as a vegan, my favorite burger place is any that has a burger option i can eat. haha. evolution fast food is pretty amazing.
and as far as true blood, omg. so happy it’s back. i watched next weeks episode on demand this morning… i think you will be happy. love me some eric northman. haha.

I like getting burgers from Red Robin or Ted’s Montana Grill. They are both chains. I haven’t found any local places that made a really good burger. I need to keep searching
Oh man, that looks good! I love a good salad, but I don’t want any of that rabbit food on my burger. Cheese n’ beef please.
I don’t have HBO or Showtime, so I am missing on all these fancy shows people are in love with. Sigh.

Yes you are missing out! hehe. Get the first season on DVD and start from there, it’s addicting!

I LOVE true blood, but I don’t get HBO, so I have to wait for the DVDs to come out…which won’t be until next June! [sob]
