Brother Tuckers

I kinda sorta didn’t want to write about Brother Tuckers because it’s my special little hidden gem in Pompano Beach.  I have to share this place with the world unfortunately, my hands won’t let me keep it from you.

We live about 5 minutes away from this “hole in the wall”, which has an AMAZING beer selection and GREAT food.  The menu has great choices…but the specials are where it’s at.  They’ve had everything from Reuben Stuffed Meatlof Sandwich to a Cuban Burrito (basically a Cuban Sandwich stuffed in a burrito smothered in melted cheese, yeah…it’s droolworthy).

A very small portion of the ever changing beer menu

I love all the beers!  They even give you a glass that lets you enjoy what you are drinking to the maximum potential.

One of my favorite beers

Because it’s dark and I’m lazy on Friday nights (when we usually go), I haven’t taken tons of pics, but here are some of the delicious morsels of food.

"Midnight Monk" Huge & Delish!

Their Meatballs are so tasty.  They are made of Turkey…at first I though “bleh, I don’t do turkey meatballs on a Friday night”.  But you would think they are plain old exceptional meatballs.  Eating it with the mozzarella bread & topping it with a banana pepper is perfection.  You’re saying, wait…banana pepper?  It is so good!  It is a little bite of tang for the sweet sauce and rich meatball.

I'm ready for my close up!

One of the specials, Tuna Burger

Above was one of the specials, the Tuna was cooked perfectly, and it was WAY spicy!  The cold pasta salad is a great accompaniment.  The pasta salad is my favorite side.  It’s just a smorgasbord of different pastas and veggies, with a homemade vinaigrette that is insanely good.

I'll need some wet naps!

Another goodie on their regular menu is the “Church Barbecue”.  I love the sauce and the meat is so tender.

Brother Tuckers is a must for anyone living in the vicinity.  If you’re there on a Friday night, look for me!  I will probably be there getting full tipsy.

  1. Those meatballs look to-die-for! And I can’t believe that’s a TUNA burger! It looks so delicious and juicy! This place sounds amazing!

  2. That restaurant looks great! Sometimes the hole in the wall restaurants are the best ones to try! :) I love craft beers. I’m a fan of tasting different beers I’ve never had before.
