The Cheesy Family

Da na na na (snap snap)  Da na na na (snap snap)

After having a few butterbeers in Orlando, we were in the mood for burgers! The sis suggested Fuddruckers, which was pretty close to our hotel. This is another place that I remember going to as a kid… me and my sis would get the kids meal and get so excited when we took our tokens to the “bakery” to get our free cookies! Almost all the Fuddruckers in south Florida are closed now, so I was happy to try out the one in Orlando…after all…they have Cheese Sauce!!

Too bad I have an aversion to any veggies on my burger

We ordered our beef burgers at the counter and sat down to wait. I perused the topping bar and my childhood nostalgia kicked in again…my subconscious was leading me towards cheese sauce. Now I noticed they had 2 kinds… Jalapeno and Regular. I carried as many cups back as my little big hands could take me.

Jalapeno & Regular Cheese Sauce, all is good in the world

Jay & the sis are all about the cheese sauce too. My sis prefered the mild one, and Jay the Jalapeno. Both were rich and creamy, 100 times better than the Sizzlers crap. I liked both of course, so more for me!

No stealing my precious!

The burgers came about 10 minutes later (a little slower than I thought), and we were ready to eat! We dug right in and all sighed in our state of meaty happiness. The burgers were delicious, juicy and perfectly cooked! Even Jay, who “hates fried ass hamburgers”, loved the Fuddruckers burger. It was a great last meal in O-town.

I've been burger-fied

  1. I think I went to Fuddruckers one time when I was little before it closed around me. I don’t remember their cookies! That is a great looking topping bar! Love the cheese! Cheese makes everything better :)

  4. Ah! This is bringing on childhood nostalgia for me…just like you and the cheese sauce! We used to eat at Fuddrucker’s a lot when I was growing up, but I haven’t been there in…10+ years? Good times. :)
