The results are in! I lost 4 lbs on the Shakeology 3 day cleanse and feel really good! I don’t feel bloated anymore, and I have much more energy in the morning. I even am starting to crave healthy foods….I like that side effect.
My last day on the cleanse went pretty well. The hardest time for me was between lunch and dinner. I had a pretty bad headache and was hungry. So I cheated and had a piece of low fat string cheese. It tasted heavenly.
| LOVE my new salad spinner! Who knew that lettuce could get that dry? |
My dinner salad filled me up pretty well, I added romaine, tomatoes, onions, green pepper and tuna. The dressing I used was Annie’s Lite Gingerly Vinaigrette. One serving has 40 calories…but I’m pretty sure I used 2 servings on this one. A big salad needs more that 2 tbsp of dressing
Surprisingly enough, watching Top Chef didn’t make me salivate too much. I’m starting to get annoyed that they keep Jamie in the game. Casey made 1 bad thing but was on the floor working it…Jamie made 2 bad things and she’s still there? Bleh
Now I’ll be going back to my regular Shakeology schedule, having 1 shake a day in the morning. Plus, I’m going to start my running routine again. Tomorrow I’m planning on waking up early and getting my 3 miles in.
This morning I treated myself for being so good on the cleanse (for the most part). A Peanut Butter & Apple Sandwich on Challah. Ahhh….bread never tasted so good.
| My breakfast treat! One for me and one for Jay |
Mmmm, that breakfast sandwich looks delicious! I'm glad your cleanse worked out well for you!
white bread! Tsk tsk LOL just buggin
4 lbs is pretty amazing! hope you keep feeling good and keep craving healthy stuff, i love it when i crave healthy foods
oh its Challah bread, i had to look it up because i didn't know what it was, i'd totally try it lol
That sounds like it was hard. I don't think I could do anything like that. When I restrict food, bad things happen.
LOL! At first glance (and second, and third) I thought your challah bread was roasted turkey, and that you had it with peanut butter and apple. I thought it was Top Chef inspired
Glad you survived the cleanse! You're tough! I couldn't have done it!!

Good job on making it through! I could never do anything like that. Your sandwich looks amazing- I'm going to go make the exact same thing! Thanks for the inspiration!
