Fitness

I know that fitness is a very important part of losing fat and maintaining your loss. It's also good to switch things up, because if you do the same thing for 12 weeks, your body gets used to it and fails to perform at it's peak.

Right now, I'm going to the gym 4 days a week to do weights and cardio. Then on the weekend I do a cardio activity outdoors, like rollerblading or walking. Here is what my current schedule looks like.

Mon: Upper Body / Stepmill - 25 mins
Tue: Lower Body / Treadmill - 25 mins
Wed: Elliptical - 35 mins
Thu: Upper Body / Stepmill - 25 mins
Fri: Lower Body
Sat: OFF
Sun: Rollerblade/Walk - 30 mins

I also stretch and do ab work 4 days a week. It is extremely important to stretch after you work out! It helps promote healing and prevent injury

I'm going to be starting Chalean Extreme on May 11th. It's a 90 day program with 15 workouts. I'm so excited to start. I would love for some of my readers to join me in the workouts! Click here to get Chalean Extreme.

Here is a video about Chalean Extreme. Check it out!

My Story

Hi! Thanks for reading! I'm Natalie, a 29 year old Floridian who is staying in shape. I have often struggled with my weight. But now I finally know what I have to do to maintain myself and my health. I love to cook, travel and dine out! It's all about maintaining a healthy balance of food, fun, and fitness.

Since about 4th grade I was overweight (PIC above is from 2005). Summer of Junior year in high school I worked my booty off at the gym. This was during the "low fat" craze so I cut down my fat and overall calorie intake by probably too much. I also went to the gym about 5 days a week. I went down to 117 lbs at one point, which was too low for me.

In college, I went up and down alot (mostly up!) There were too many keg parties, Pokey Sticks (the best thing ever), and 4am Taco Bell trips. By Junior year, my weight was stabilized in the mid 140's, but I still was not completely happy or healthy.

After College I stopped working out and ate out alot with my friends. In November of 2006 I was at 155 lbs and unhappy. One day I saw Turbo Jam on the internet and decided to buy it. It was the best Idea I ever had! I lost 10 lbs in 1 month and felt great! I kept doing other Beachbody Programs like Slim in 6 and weighed in at 135 lbs by March of 2007 and lost tons of inches. I went down to a size 6, my lowest size in my adult life!

Then I thought I could maintain at the gym but I was wrong! I kept slacking and lacked motivation. I maintained my weight but missed the fun Beachbody programs and community. Then I decided to become a Beachbody coach, so I can help others with their goals too. Now I'm going to start Chalean Extreme and am SO excited (PIC below is me 1 year ago, more to come!).

It took me years to realize that me slacking off for a week always leads to slacking off for months. Tracking food and fitness works wonders...I'm not slacking this time.

Highest Weight: 160
Current Weight: 135

Join the Beachbody Community for FREE and I can be your coach (plus you can win money just for working out)!

5/24 UPDATE: I'm currently doing ChaeLEAN Extreme and loving it! It's a great program that's short on time. I can't wait to share my results. I also supplement my diet with Shakeology.
It's like an uber pumped up version of a protein shake, packed with TONS of nutrients and super foods. I already can feel my energy increase and see my skin looking better!

Please e-mail me if you have any questions about Beachbody Programs or Shakeology! I'd love to help in any way I can! fitfoodie@beachbodycoach.com
