Old Bay Tuna Melt

I got a nice treat the other day! The folks at Old Bay sent me a gift package with a sampling of their products and some other goodies. I got a beach towel, bag, bottle opener, Old Bay (regular and low sodium), and a seafood steamer bag. When I visited Baltimore…I remember adding Old Bay to everything. It’s great on tons of stuff, from seafood to french fries. I decided to add some Old Bay to my tuna and it was delish! maybe the asparagus seems odd? But I needed to fit in my veggies :)

Old Bay Tuna Melt with Asparagus
2 slices Ezekiel bread
1 package of Healthy Selections tuna (which I LOVE since it’s the perfect serving)
1 tbsp light mayo
1 1/2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1/8 tsp Old Bay
dash of hot sauce
6 asparagus spears (steamed and chopped)
2 slices reduced-fat Provolone

Set your oven to broil. Combine all the ingredients except the cheese (make sure asparagus is thoroughly dry when you add it). Then equally divide between the 2 slices of bread and top each with a slice of cheese. Place under the broiler for about 2 minutes and it’s ready to go!
