ChaLEAN to the Rescue

Happy Thursday! I’m leaving this afternoon for Las Vegas, so this will be my last post of the week. I can’t wait to post all about my trip when I get back!

I made a ChaLEAN calendar in excel and it’s officially on my fridge. So NO EXCUSES when I get back from vacation!


I did the ChaLEAN Fitness Test this morning! They tell you to do it right before you start the program and again at the end to see how much you’ve improved. Here are my results…

Day 1 Fit Test:
Push Ups: 11
Crunches: 73
Squats: 158
Plank: 1:08
Shoulder Press: 9 reps at 15lbs
Bicep Curl: 8 reps at 15 lbs


I took my measurements too. They give you a great chart with a space to post your pictures so you can keep track of your progress every 30 days. ChaLEAN comes with a body fat caliper with clear instructions so you can take your own body fat measurements. It doesn’t come with a measuring tape, but I had one from way back when I bought Slim in 6.

Day 1 Measurements:
Waist: 32″ (at belly button) 28.5″ (at smallest point)
Hips: 36″
Abductors: 38″
Chest: 36.5″
Right Arm: 11″
Left Arm: 11″
Right Thigh: 19.75″
Left Thigh: 20″
Weight: 137.6
Body Fat: 25.4%

I would love to get to around 20% Body Fat and lose a couple inches all around! I can’t wait to start seeing results!
